When I look at this picture right now I feel true happiness, total relaxation, and the perfect weekend getaway place. It makes me want to grab my love and drive off into the beautiful mountains. What do does it say to you?
A picture of yourself tells a story of who you are. I'm trying not to over analyze ALL the things it could say about me- and stick with the fact that I like this one.
In this day and age of selfies, and photographers galore it's easy for us to feel like seeing pictures of ourselves is easy. I love that some people feel that way, but I often don't. I'm particular about how I look in front of the camera. I like when the right side of my face is toward the camera (opposite of most people who tend to like the side their hair parts toward.) I like looking pretty, but not overly formal. I like my big smile when it's candid, and not right at the camera. And I like looking flattering! But who doesn't?
So why am I sharing this? It's because I GET that putting yourself in front of a camera can feel super vulnerable. I can listen and understand any requests, and I do everything I can to make you feel genuinely comfortable and relaxed while you're having your pictures taken. It is important! And while we're all working on our self worth- we still deserve our pictures taken, because our life is happening now. 😍
And.... with all that being said, I am really lucky that I have @daviddavenport_iii who knows all my particular picture querks and still snaps pictures I love, that make me feel good and true about myself.
